Your pregnancy journey is deeply personal, and so is your data. This Privacy Policy explains how WombVibe(“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the WombVibe mobile app and website at https://www.wombvibe.com (together, the “Service”).
1. Who we are
WombVibe is the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@wombvibe.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, profile photo (if you choose one), and authentication identifiers from Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Pregnancy and profile information
You may optionally provide information such as your due date, pregnancy week, baby name, and display preferences. This helps personalize weekly journey content, reminders, and care tools.
Wellness and care data you choose to log
Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Mood entries and AI Comfort text you type
- Symptom logs, kick counter sessions, and contraction timing
- Weight logs, appointments, birth plan notes, and medication reminders
- Postpartum data such as mood check-ins, baby feeds, sleep, and nappy records
- Saved mixes, playlists, favourites, and offline downloads
- Nutrition and exercise activity within the app
Some of this data is stored locally on your device. When you are signed in, selected data may sync to your account in our cloud database so you can access it across devices.
Usage and device information
We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, music listened to, session duration, app version, device type, operating system, and general diagnostic logs. This helps us fix bugs, improve performance, and understand which content is most helpful.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect aggregated, pseudonymous usage statistics. On iOS, analytics is configured without advertising identifier support. We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or to sell your information.
Payment information
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive purchase status and entitlement information through RevenueCat to unlock premium features.
Support communications
If you contact us by email, we collect the information you provide (such as your email address, message content, and device details you choose to share) so we can respond to your request.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and personalize the Service
- Sync your data across devices when you are signed in
- Generate AI Comfort music suggestions based on mood text you enter
- Send reminders and notifications you enable (such as appointments or kick-counter reminders)
- Process purchases and manage premium access
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
- Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve features and content
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the Service
We do not use your health-related logs or mood entries for advertising. AI Comfort processes your words only to suggest music within the app.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you request, including account management and premium features
- Legitimate interests — to improve the Service, prevent fraud, and ensure security, balanced against your rights
- Consent — for optional features such as push notifications or calendar sync, which you can withdraw in device or app settings
- Legal obligation — where required by applicable law
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations, including Google Firebase (authentication, cloud database, file storage, and analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management), and infrastructure providers that host our website
- App store platforms (Apple, Google) when you make a purchase or sign in through them
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law
6. Data retention
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records for legal, tax, or security purposes.
Locally stored data on your device remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data in your device settings.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format where technically feasible
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for optional features at any time
You can manage many preferences in the app's Settings. To request account deletion or exercise privacy rights, email privacy@wombvibe.com or support@wombvibe.com. We will respond within 30 days, or as required by applicable law.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect data transferred internationally.
10. Children
WombVibe is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
